"Miscarriage at the North East Heath Centre"

About: North East Community Health Centre / Emergency

(as a service user),

I was experiencing an active miscarriage of a 10 week old baby while waiting to be seen. I waited for over 12 hours in excruciating pain with no pain relief offered. I felt I was harassed by other patients and people in the waiting room, telling me not to cry. I did not say anything to security, but I wish I had. They didn’t notice that I was stuck in a corner and people kept trying to talk to me when all I wanted was the ground to open up and swallow me whole.
